Since 1976, Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve have been among the most meaningful evenings of the year at Café | Cortina. These nights carry decades of tradition, celebration, and heartfelt gathering, and we are honored to welcome guests back each holiday season.
Chef Ernesto will be presenting a special prix fixe menu for both evenings, thoughtfully curated to showcase the beauty and richness of the season. Each menu reflects the craftsmanship, warmth, and sense of occasion that define these cherished nights.

We are delighted to share the release of Café | Cortina's 'Vincigrassi' Lasagna, our newest offering and a project that has been years in the making. Crafted from the same recipe served at the restaurant, this is our beloved lasagna, prepared with the highest-quality ingredients, then packaged and frozen, ready to bake at home.
Lasagna Vinci is now being distributed in select markets throughout metro Detroit, with additional locations being added in the coming months. For those outside the area or for guests who simply prefer the convenience, you may also purchase directly through our website for pick-up or shipped straight to your home. Shipping is available nationwide.
